HonestyInsure case study
A health insurance site written to be the answer AI search gives, with an AI agent that enrolls you right on the page.
- 144pages and guides indexed
- 31states with their own local pages
- 8in-depth plan guides
- 24/7AI agent chat built into the hero
People now ask ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews which health plan to pick. We built HonestyInsure to be the source those answers cite, and to enroll them on the spot.
Health insurance is the hardest trust sale online.
It's a "Your Money or Your Life" category: Google and AI engines only cite sources that prove expertise. And the shopper is wary of sales pitches, spam calls and data brokers.
Answer-first pages, built to be cited.
Every page opens with a short, sourced answer, then goes deep: state exchanges, subsidies, plan types and enrollment dates for the 2027 plan year. Each one has a licensed-agent reviewer byline, primary citations and FAQ, HowTo and Article schema.
The chat is the hero.
Visitors tell Honesty.AI who needs coverage and their ZIP right in the homepage hero. It compares plans and works out their subsidy, and every chat, plan view and enrollment step is tracked in GA4.

Good questions.
How do you get a website cited by AI search engines?
Answer the question in the first lines, prove who wrote it, and cite primary sources. HonestyInsure pages open with a short answer, carry a licensed reviewer byline, cite CMS, KFF and HealthCare.gov, and use FAQ and Article schema so Google's AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity can quote them with confidence.
What is YMYL content?
"Your Money or Your Life" topics like health, insurance and finance, where Google holds content to the highest bar for expertise and trust. Sites in these categories need real credentials, sources and accuracy to rank or be cited.
Can an AI chat replace a quote form?
On HonestyInsure it leads, not replaces. The hero starts a chat with the licensed AI agent, and a classic quote form and phone number stay one tap away for people who prefer them.
