AcesAirboat case study
A cinematic, booking-first site built to win travelers in the moment they search.
- 334pages live
- 369booking-button clicks in the first 2 months
- 5Google Ads campaigns built
A family-owned airboat operator was losing travelers to online travel agencies. We built a site that puts you on the boat before you book.
The aggregators were winning the phone search.
Travelers search for airboat rides on their phones, often the same day. Aggregators and travel agencies were taking that traffic from a local, family-owned operator with several Everglades departure points.
Booking-first, video-led, local everywhere.
A custom theme replacing the old page builder: cinematic video, tour pages, a real-photo gallery, a "good day to airboat?" check, hyperlocal pages for nearby cities and attractions, and text-or-call Captain Billy on every screen.
Page one, and clicks to book.
In the first two tracked months the site drove 369 clicks to the booking button plus calls and form inquiries, and it ranks on page one for searches like "nearest airboat rides". AI crawlers get an llms.txt and TouristTrip schema.
Ride along.
Scroll the live site the way a traveler would, from the first video frame to the booking button.

Good questions.
How does a local tour operator compete with travel aggregators?
By winning the phone search with a faster, more useful site: real photos and video, clear tours, a text line to the captain, local pages for every nearby city and schema that tells Google and AI tools exactly what you offer.
What is llms.txt?
A plain-text guide at the root of a website that tells AI assistants what the business is and which pages matter, alongside open AI-crawler access, so tools like ChatGPT can cite the site accurately.
How do you track tour bookings?
Every booking-button click, call and text is tracked in GA4 and fed to Google Ads, so the campaigns optimize toward real inquiries.
